- 12-03_ Patrick Vincent, Certified Ergonomist, WELL AP, was one of the guest expert on the panel of ergonomics, health and safety, and employer’s responsibilities (panel sur l’ergonomie, santé & sécurité et responsabilités de l’employeur), as well as guest experts Karl Blackburn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Conseil du patronat du Québec, and lawyer Caroline Jodoin, Senior Staff Attorney with the firm Norton Rose Fullbright. This event was part of the Guide télétravail Québec from the Conseil du patronat (CPQ). - Patrick Vincent, President of Vincent Ergonomie, Certified Ergonomist and representative of the APEQ, and Marco Brissette, Senior Interior Designer at ACDF Architecture, representative of the APDIQ, discussed about the project of the study table during the virtual annual event Expo Contech, with the presentation of ‘’S’unir pour repenser les espaces de travail en situation de pandémie’’.
- Patrick Vincent, APEQ representative, as well as Stéphanie Chartrand, Founder of EspaZio Design and APDIQ representative, gave 10 tips to well design your home workstation during the discussion: Télétravail – Le confort sous tous ses sens. The discussion is available on Ergocampus.com.
- Patrick Vincent is also involved in the group COVIDesign, a group of professionals from different design and architecture disciplines specialized in commercial designing. This work group of experts has been invited to conduct an in-depth rethinking of commercial organisation and space design and propose general guidelines to ensure a stable and reliable adaptation to the COVID-19 pandemic. M. Vincent acted as an advisor during fall 2020. The announcement of the group composition to rethink commercial space design in a pandemic context is available on the website Bureau du design de Montréal.
- Patrick Vincent, Certified Ergonomist, participates as a representative of the Association professionnelle des ergonomes du Québec (APEQ), on a study group jointly fund with the Association des designers d’intérieurs du Québec (APDIQ), represented by Marco Brissette, Senior Interior Designer at ACDF Architecture. The goal of this initiative is to join forces to create reference tools regarding COVID-19 and workplace prevention. This study group was created on September 2nd, 2020.
