Highlights
The transport public society wanted to determine the problematic cause of a situation that resulted in an elbow injury to some employees, situation occurring during the disassembly of the caliper bus brakes.
This situation was all the more worrying since it affected several employees and concerned a periodic task; the mechanics of this public transport society doing the cleaning and restoration of these parts frequently.
As the restoration work involved many stages (handling the caliper, transferring the part, unbolting, etc.), priority actions according to a rating (I, II and III) have been identified. Various possible solutions have been proposed and studied in connection with the employer and union parties in order to facilitate their adoption and allow everyone involved to contribute to the implementation of the solution.
